Kate Lanagan MacGregor’s Connecting the Dots Initiative continued last week with a Social Media Workshop by Susan Gorden Ryan and Kevin Thompson of BBM pros.   BOLD Moves Real Estate agents, Kathy Song, Dave Garro and Betty Tripanier attended the workshop to see how social media is important for their business.

The Workshop covered how social media is important in your business.  Who is your avatar? What is an avatar?  Who is your target market? It also discussed, once you define your market,  how do you reach them? How can social media help with this?  It included messaging strategies and prioritizing systems by venue.  What are you doing to reach your audience daily, weekly, monthly?

They also went over C.O.R.R.E.  Create once and refine and reproduce everywhere.  Your web is your hub and you can compartmentalize, monitor and refine before you put it out there on social media.

Great tips for branding your business and getting it noticed on social media and reaching your target audience.

RASEM Red Expo Huge Success

RASEM Red ExpoRASEM Red Expo

The RASEM Red Expo was held last Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Raynham Park Simulcast Center in Raynham, MA.  RASEM or Realtors Association of Southeast Massachusetts held its expo and tradeshow as well as a new concept called RED Talks.  RED for Real Estate Development Education.  These are talks on a variety of subjects by various professionals involved in real estate and related industries.  Each talk is about 20 minutes in length and there were about 17  Red talks throughout the day.

Some of these included:  Al Rivet from All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services, Kevin Thompson from BBM Pros, Joanne Dunsky from A Lil Something, Tom Percy from Tom Percy Law, Steve Medeiros from Pelletier Realty,  and Jeffrey Chalmers from Ross Mortgage to name a few.

The day also included a class on Real Estate Professional Ethics and a class on understanding RPR.  The evening ended with an awards dinner.

It was a great day for real estate and Kate Lanagan MacGregor ( who is now newly elected President-elect of RASEM), and the BBM Pros who were involved with all the planning for the event.

Anatomy of a Great Day and an Authentic Wedding!

What makes for a great day?  I had the delight of watching my daughter marry the love of her life this weekend.  The day was perfect from start to finish.   We are so blessed to be able to share this special day with all our family and friends as well as new family and friends.

It was so wonderful to see the families come together to help set up the wedding and put into reality my daughter’s vision and beautiful decorations for her dream wedding.  Meg and David put a lot of hard work and sweat into creating all the special touches for the wedding and the result was spectacular.

Spending the weekend with the MacGregors, Santos and Shaw families blending into one big tribe was so much fun.

Our officiant, Kate Lanagan MacGregor, made the whole ceremony personal and touching and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. She has performed weddings for her friends and family as ‘Authentic Weddings‘.In addition,  being able to make it all happen on the family farm that is a part of all of us and the future home of the bride and groom make it a very special setting.   It was all over too fast and a great time was had by all.  It would be nice to rewind and do it again, but we will just have to settle for memories and all the great pictures.

Family is probably the most important aspect of my life and I am lucky to be part of two very special families.  It doesn’t matter how often we are together, it’s always a great time and everyone always pitches in and works together.

BOLD Moves Real Estate is a family also.  BOLDIES are an integral part of BOLD Moves and are all part of a tribe that always has each other’s back.  Kate brings the family values into the business to help our agents and in turn help our clients.
